The Campaign Trail - June 25 in Rockland/Orange Counties

It was a family outing as Jim, Michael and Jean headed to Bear Mountain State Park for its annual fireworks display. Jim received a very favorable response as he met hundreds of residents, mostly from Rockland and Orange counties.  And the fireworks display was simply spectacular! June 24 Event at Dudley's in New Rochelle

On June 24, approximately 150 friends packed into Dudley's Waterview Restaurant to help kick-off Jim's campaign for New York State Supreme Court.  The constant hum of talking and laughter showed just how enthusiastic everyone is about Jim! Even the weather cooperated so that some of the festivities took place on the outdoor deck.  Pictured here: Jim is flanked by his brother, Anthony, and father "Big Jim." June 16 Event at Crowell & Moring

Past and present colleagues gathered at the New York City office of Crowell & Morning to wish Jim well in his upcoming election.  It's hard to get a group of lawyers to agree on anything, but the unanimous opinion in the room: Jim will make an outstanding Supreme Court Justice! The Campaign Trail - June 13 in Westchester

Jim had a busy Sunday with events all over Westchester County.  One highlight: the annual church picnic at St. Anthony's in Yonkers.  Councilman John Larkin introduced Jim to 250 very friendly members of the parish.

The other highlight is a long-time favorite of Jim and his family: the feast of St. Anthony at St. Joseph's Church in New Rochelle's West End.  Jim marched in the procession of the St. Anthony statue through the streets and then headed to the festival with plenty of friends and even more great food. A wonderful way to cap off a busy weekend.

Many thanks to everyone who provided encouragement throughout the weekend. Check Jim's flickr page for photos from the weekend.

The Campaign Trail - June 11 & 12 in Dutchess & Westchester Counties

Friday night, Jim met with many fellow attorneys.  First stop was the Yonkers' Lawyers Association Golf Outing at Lake Isle in Eastchester. Jim then went to the annual dinner for the Columbian Lawyers Association of Westchester (an Italian-American association) in New Rochelle.

Saturday morning Jim visited the Amenia Strawberry Fair in Dutchess County. After meeting a lot of wonderful people, eating some fresh strawberries and seeing a kangaroo (check out the flickr photos!), Jim headed back to Westchester to the Ossining Street Fair.

Special thanks to Putnam County Legislator Mike Kelsey and Ossining Councilman Peter Tripoto for taking time to introduce Jim to so many people. Make sure you visit Jim's flickr photostream.
