The Campaign Trail - July 7 in Westchester
Submitted by County Legislat... on Fri, 07/09/2010 - 17:50Despite the heat of the day, Jim headed to Yonkers to visit with approximately 75 senior citizens for the Bryn Mawr Senior Citizens Luncheon. After a warm introduction by fellow County Legislator and Senior Advocate Bernice Spreckman, Jim gave a very short speech and handed out palm cards and nail files to the attendees.

That night, while the real Ringo Starr celebrated his birthday on stage at Radio City Music Hall, Jim, Jean and Michael headed to Hudson Park for the New Rochelle Council on the Arts Summer Concert Series. Fittingly, the Beatles Mystery Tour Band provided the evening's entertainment. Jim handed out fans to to the concert goers. Be sure to see Jim's flickr photo stream for more photos.
The Campaign Trail - July 3 in Orange & Westchester Counties
Submitted by County Legislat... on Tue, 07/06/2010 - 00:33There was no holiday from the campaign trail. Saturday morning, Jim attended the Great American Weekend in Goshen. This is one of the largest annual events in Orange County (and Jim highly recommends that you put it on your "to do list" for next year). Jim campaigned at the event with State Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt and his running mate Matt Byrne. Jim met a lot of great people and their warm support inspired him to keep on going. That night, he headed back to Westchester County to Kensico Dam and another unbelievable fireworks display. Jim's family and a few friends joined him as they met even more people. The Kensico Dam event was probably the largest event Jim has done so far.

The Campaign Trail - July 2 in Westchester
Submitted by County Legislat... on Tue, 07/06/2010 - 00:20Another day on the campaign trail, another fireworks display! Jim attended the Eastchester Town fireworks at Lake Isle (incidentally, Jim was the assistant pool director there in 1989!) on Friday, July 2. Pictured here: Jim with Tony Colavita Sr., the former NY State and Westchester County Republican Chair. See more photos on Jim's flickr photo stream.
The Campaign Trail - July 1 in Westchester
Submitted by County Legislat... on Fri, 07/02/2010 - 02:25Jim, his son Michael and some dedicated volunteers had a busy night campaigning at the fireworks at White Plains High School. Jim was even endorsed by a clown (see the flickr photo stream). Jim continues to be encouraged by the warm reception he receives at all the events. After giving out more than 1,000 palm cards, they stayed to see the spectacular fireworks. Pictured here: State Senate Candidate Bob Cohen and Jim. The Campaign Trail - June 30 in Westchester
Submitted by County Legislat... on Thu, 07/01/2010 - 00:56Jim received a very favorable response at the Mamaroneck Firefighters Parade. He and a crew of volunteers handed out close to 1,000 "Maisano for Justice" palm cards. Jim met people from all over southern Westchester and enjoyed a "walk down memory lane" as he ran into friends he had not seen since childhood. All in all, a great night! Be sure to check out Jim's photo stream on flickr.
The Campaign Trail - June 26 & 27 in Westchester & Putnam Counties

On Saturday, he attended the Yonkers for a Veterans Appreciation Day and then a youth baseball event. Saturday night, Jim went to the Armonk Firefighters parade and the Lewisboro town fireworks. On Sunday, Jim visited Putnam County for Congressional Candidate Nan Hayworth's event. Afterward, he attended a benefit in White Plains and then headed to Rye for an outdoor concert. It certainly was a busy weekend! Pictured here: Jim and Nan Hayworth. Visit Jim's flickr page for photos from the weekend's events.
The Campaign Trail - June 25 in Rockland/Orange Counties
Submitted by County Legislat... on Sun, 06/27/2010 - 15:30It was a family outing as Jim, Michael and Jean headed to Bear Mountain State Park for its annual fireworks display. Jim received a very favorable response as he met hundreds of residents, mostly from Rockland and Orange counties. And the fireworks display was simply spectacular! Pictured here: Michael and Jim say hello to two fellow former US Marines - Semper Fi!
June 24 Event at Dudley's in New Rochelle
Submitted by County Legislat... on Fri, 06/25/2010 - 16:41On June 24, approximately 150 friends packed into Dudley's Waterview Restaurant to help kick-off Jim's campaign for New York State Supreme Court. The constant hum of talking and laughter showed just how enthusiastic everyone is about Jim! Even the weather cooperated so that some of the festivities took place on the outdoor deck. Pictured here: Jim is flanked by his brother, Anthony, and father "Big Jim." Visit Jim's flickr page for more photos from the night.
