The Campaign Trail - July 22-26 in Westchester & Putnam Counties

Busy, busy, busy -- three words that best describe Jim on the campaign trail. Thursday, July 22 was the summer concert in Scardsdale. Friday's  rain storms canceled Jim's visit to the concert in Port Chester. On Saturday, Jim headed to a taxpayer rally in Putnam and finished the evening at the fireworks display in Tuckahoe. On Sunday, Jim took it easy by "only" attending three events: the Hispanic Heritage Festival at Kensico Dam; the Calandra Lodge Sons of Italy picnic in Yonkers; and a fund raiser in Tuckahoe benefiting the family of a fallen firefighter.  Pictured here is Jim with Jose Alvarado, a colleague from the Board of Legislators. Concerned about the rigors of the campaign, Jose had Jim check his blood pressure while at the Hispanic Heritage Festival.  No worries...campaigning agrees with Jim!! Check out more photo on Jim's flickr photostream.
